Princess Pool Towels

The Golden over Thanksgiving will be my first Princess cruise. So I'll probably be asking a LOT of questions!

Does Princess put your towels for the pool in your cabin? You have to take them to the pool and bring them back to your cabin? I think this is what I have learned from the message board..seems a little bothersome to me. What if I want two towels? Or three?

I've never had trouble getting as many pool towels as I needed.
The stewards do request that you return them to your cabin and they do replace them with a fresh one every day.

Yes, towels will be available in the cabin for the pool, also, you can sneak into the spa (sauna/changing room) and get more...actually, you don't have to sneak at all!

Princess leaves beach/pool towels in your room so you also can take them ashore if you are going to the beach, snorkeling, etc.

If you need additional beach/pool towels, just ask your cabin steward for them.

What happens if you forget to bring it back to your room?

We just returned from a cruise on the Grand Princess. The towels are left for you in the room. No problem getting additional towels if you need them. Enjoy your cruise!

I don't know, as I have not tried that experiement. At worst, they might bill your shipboard account for the price of a replacement towel.

I think the room stewards are responsible for keeping track of the towels. My husband and I used our towels in the morning and then expected new ones in the evening for an evening dip, but the steward said they were still being laundered. This was a couple of years ago. The steward eventually found some for us.
