I was on the Golden last January and when I got into my cabin I found my steward and asked for 2 lounge chairs for my deck. After reading the boards I took their suggestions and I enjoyed my balcony with lounge chairs every evening before getting ready for dinner. It was much more comfortable having lounge chairs instead of two deck chairs.
Our mini-suite last January had 2 deck chairs that laid back. So although your legs weren't up, you were reclining quite nicely. There were also 2 regular chairs so we could put our feet up on those.
You can also ask the cabin stewart for foot stools, which work nicely and can double as an extra place to put your drink etc, if you need one. Nice to have lots of options!
