Room Category on Golden

Booked on Golden 4/19/03 and have been upgraded to a category BA balcony room on Caribe deck. Last year on the same ship we were in a BC balcony room and loved it. What can I expect from this 2 category upgrade? How can it be better than last yrs. Also last year the BC was on Aloha deck which is two decks higher than this yrs "upgrade." Thanks for any input ... just don't know what makes one category room different from another when they both have the balcony.

Balconies on Caribe deck are larger -- they are half covered and half exposed.

Hi Sailor Bob,

The only difference from the BC to the BA is BA will be midship and as lak said the balconies on the caribe deck are twice the size as regular balconies. The staterooms' interior are identical in size and amenities. Hope you have a great time on your cruise.
