Default Sometimes it pays to book ahead...

I just checked several sites and found out that the cruise that we booked (category II) has gone up over $500 per person since we booked last August.

By the way, the cruise booked is on the Pacific Princess through Alaska.

After making our final payment yesterday for our May cruise to Alaska, our TA says it would cost $875 (Cdn) more to book the same room/cruise today. I'm really glad we booked ahead!

...that's probably true overall, but I've seen some last minute cruise deals that are UNBELIEVABLE. For example $299 for Princess's 3/15 sailing out of San Juan. I've never seen deals like this before.
