We were just assigned D732 on 4/5 sailing on Star Princess. How does handicap accessibility affect the room? We are not handicapped and didn't choose this room We were on an AE guarantee. Pictures look like the deck may be a smidgeon larger. is that true?
Chuck, I think you will be happy with this cabin. Remember when I told you about vacating E728, this cabin is one deck up. The balcony should be 40% larger than the standard mini-suite. The only thing it won't have like the other minis is a bath tub. Handicap cabins don't have tubs but low threshold showers for easy access. The deck plan doesn't indicate it is larger but it should be a little wider. Hope this helps. Look forward to meeting you on board. Erik
Just returned from the Star and had a handicapped cabin - huge!
I wish I could book a handicapped cabin on each cruise. I paid for an upgrade to get this room and did select it - my choice. We were in B302. You will be very happy with this cabin - that is a real guarantee. The bathroom is very large. I took a peek at the other cabins and bathrooms. They were the smallest cabins I had seen - you will be VERY happy you have the large cabin and bathroom that you do.
