Default Venice Cruise Terminal by Private Car

We plan to board the Golden Princess in Venice this summer. We expect to be driven to Venice in a private car. Indications are that the car can drop off passengers right outside the cruise terminal. In view of current security concerns, etc., is it still possible for this to happen, i.e., a private car get close to the terminal?

Paul... hard to predict what actual changes will occur when war breaks out, but its certainly been possible until now.
