Bringing liquor and wine on board???

Sorry I can't find the post where someone had already asked this question.
What is best to do and will my bottles get confiscated?

Should I buy liquor and wine at home and bring on flight and then on the ship?
Or should I wait and buy my bottles in Fla where I am departing?

Not sure on the rules on whether I can do this or not....

If you read Princess policy on this at their web site. It state that you are not allowed to bring liquor but Wine and Champagne are excluded from this rule. Hope that helps.

Just back from the Dawn and took a case of wine with me from home. bought a case from my local dealer and received discount for case. Had no problem at airport or ship. There is a $10 corkage fee to open at dinner.

Wine and champagne is allowed, liquor and beer is not. Many people sneak it on anyway. I would not recommend packing liquor in your luggage as many people have posted that bottles broke or cans exploded (especially on planes). If you are going to try the liquor, do it openly...many times they just let you pass through without confiscating it...other times they will confiscate. I'd rather have them confiscate than have ruined clothes.
