Looking at April 2004 cruise "Caribbean Medley." Any suggestions re. ports of call? Also, regarding the ship Sun Princess, any comments? Consulted the deck plan and (weird as this may sound as a point of interest) can't find the laundromat. Are there any? Where are they located? Thanks for any info.

Best of the fleet, and still in excellent shape! I was aboard MV Sun Princess last month, and found no problems whatsoever.
That said, there's no guarantee that upkeep will remain solid under Carnival Corporation's management. Carnival Corporation seems to cut corners on maintenance to save money....
I know there is a laundry on the Caribe Deck, right behind the front elevators, on the starboard side.
Is anyone familiar with the cat. BA cabins on the Riviera Deck? Are they good or bad. I know they are on a high deck, but is there a lot of motion in that location?
We just got back. The Sun Princess is beautiful and in really good shape. There was crew out painting and doing maintance even in cold, wet weather. There were laundromats on several floors. I think there were 2 each, but I'm not sure of that. On Baja, a laundromat (2 washers & dryers) was close to the forward elevators on the starboard side. The last few days, there were lines waiting for the machines to become available.
