Formal Wear

We are sailing to Alaska on September 6 and I am planning to rent a tux for the voyage. At that time of the year, do they wear the black or white jacket. Has anyone rented from the company listed on the Princess Website, and if so, did you have any problems?

I'd rent the black one, saw more of those than any on our Alaska cruise. Lots of dark suits too, bet you'd look good in either, have fun!

My Alaska cruise aboard MV Sun Princess last summer was the only time that I have ever seen any officers aboard a cruise ship wearing "blue" (winter) uniforms. In Alaska in September, a black jacket definitely would be the preferred choice.
