Default Desserts

Is it just me or do you find that the desserts on Princess are all about presentation.....look GREAT, but taste BAD?!?!? This isn't the case so much in the main dining rooms. But, in the Horizon Court. YUCK! Most of it was mystery desserts. I can thank them for the fact that I didn't gain any weight cruising. hehe But, seriously, just wondering if others have noticed this or if it's different with other lines, such as Royal Caribbean? Silly Q, but just curious. Missy

We thought the desserts were bad also. They looked good but didn't measure up taste wise. With a few exceptions, we didn't much care for the desserts in the dining room either. We finally got a plate of cookies and took it to our room for dessert if we didn't like what they had available.

I agree that the desserts in the Horizon court are not the best (a REALLY good reason to skip them and save a few calories).....but most of the desserts in the dining room (especially the ice cream and the Love Boat Dream) are really very good.

I loved the desserts in the dining room. As to comparing with RCI ... on the Voyager in May, they had a grand selection of 3 or 4 ... none of them appetizing, so ended up having a chocolate sundae every night.

Lisa & Cruz Nut: are you two sailing on the same ship? Your countdown times are the same with the exception of the hour.

Unless Princess has changed their desserts in the past couple of years, they had personal dessert souffles that were wonderfully delicious in the main dining room.

Lisa, I think we're 91 days away from 10-27. Is your clock right?
