Default private balcony

We are getting ready to book a cruise on the Dawn Princess. We are looking at rooms on either Aloha deck A417 - A621 starberg side or Baja deck rooms B501 - B547. Can you tell me which cabins may give the better privacy. TIA.

On Sun Princess which should be the same, all the balconies you mentioned should be private. We were in Baja 515. We could hear our neighbors, but not see them.

Our Baja deck cabin on the Dawn was very private. Just remember though, when in port the crew paints the outside and may come by on a scaffold and that locals often check out the ships with binoculars, so at times like that it is not so private. Sea days and at night, well that is a diff story.

I would recommend the Baja deck over the aloha. On Aloha you will hear them moving the deck chairs around as they clean "early" in the am.

What saild date are you looking at booking? Several of us are going on the 12/14 sailing--got a great deal ($678/pp) for a balcony guarantee.

We were on the Aloha deck and had no problem with privacy.

My friend and I will be on the Aloha deck. We expect it to be wonderful. Maybe we will see you up there. Enjoy your cruise!

I've been on Aloha deck and really had no problem with noise from above.
