Bottled Water

I was wondering if there is bottled water available for passengers!? Is it free or do you have to purchase it? Can you bring bottled water on board to put in your mini fridge?
Can you get bottled water with your soda card? Who knows we may not have any desire for bottled water with all those bars and lounges - lol !! Thanks

you have to purchase bottled water, i am not sure if it is included on the soda card- great question btw! The tap water on Princess is pretty good. We fill our bottles and put the tap water in the fridge.

No, it is not included in the soda card. We purchased it, I think it was $2.95 or so for a large bottle (maybe 32 oz.?). We got it through room service. Also on port days there is often a table selling bottled water to take with you as you leave the ship (or at least there was in Mexico on the Grand).

Bottled water is a great profit item for the cruise line, just as soda is. It is usually in your room, and if you use it your account will be charged.

On my last cruise I kept filling my water at the buffet using there machines.

They will also leave some bottled water in your cabin, if you choose to consume it, then they will charge you for it, you can also bring some onboard, not a problem.

That's what we do too. Our problem on our upcoming cruise is that the Pacific Princess doesn't have refrigerators in our cabin.

Why pay for water on a cruise ship? The drinking water on the ship is processed on board is probably purer than any water bottled water you can purchase!! Why waste your money?
