The brunch is done in courses. The first course or appetizer course is a modified buffet with generous amounts of seafood, sushi and other more typical antipasta offerings. The other courses are brought to your table as ordered and are individually prepared to your liking. Chandon champagne is included and they are very generous. The whole ordeal takes 2-3 hours and it is wonderful! The amount of champagne poured more than makes up for the cost. Grocery store price for the bubble offered is almost $20 per bottle. The cruise ship price, if purchased, is much more. We drank a lot of champagne thay morning. The fact that I don't remember how much is probably telling. Hick!
I was advised by the maitre d' to reserve a table for about 11 or 11:30 A.M. because the appetizer buffet is so beautiful if you go early. He was right.
I had called Princess to ask if they still had Brunch on the Grand and told yes. However a cruiser on another website sailed on her 7/6 and they are not offering it anymore. Anybody who has sailed more recently than 7/6 know?
