Default formal nites

Okay this personal choice has me confused. If you pick personal choice, is there still formal nites, and is there still a free cocktail party before dinner ( this is something my TA told me about), and is there still at least one midnite buffet with all the great ice sculptures, etc. We are sailing on the Grand on Oct. 19. Thanks in advance

Hi Ruthie,
Yes, even though you are doing the PC dining, you will need to dress "formally" for formal nite and follow the dress codes for each day. They will have the times for the cocktail party in your daily Princess patter, just read through those every evening for the following day. I do believe there is still one buffet and look for an "island" nite where you have a pool deck party and wear your island wear, lots of fun. Enjoy!

I don't think there is any midnight buffet, however, Horizon is open 24 hours.

On the Sept 21 New England Canada cruise, there was no midnight buffet, but they did have a midnight "champagne waterfall"
