Default Soda Cards/Alcohol Cards

Does Princess let you pay a set amount for all the soda you want during the cruise?
How about wine or other alcohol?

Princess has a soda-sticker program for unlimited fountain sodas. No alcohol or wine cards

Their soda sticker will run you about $2.50 per day for unlimited fountain sodas. This does not include cans.
They also have several wine packages that you can purchase at a bit of a discount.

Just came off a 7 day on the Grand Princess - The soda sticker was $22.50 plus 15% gratuity... unlimited fountain drinks (including in the dining room) and also a thermal container, to carry around, if you like but not required to get the soda. Found that all bars and wait staff would get the soda but not the 'drink people' that work by the pools - a few of those outright refused!

Do they serve you in the show lounges or do you have to abandon your seat to go to the bars? Is there any other choice but diet coke with caffeine in the diet stuff?

We ordered Soda's in the Theatre and the Vista Show Lounge and just showed our cruise card with sticker without any problem. So, no, you don't have to abandon your seat (a good thing!). Also, the only diet option is regular Diet Coke. Of course, club soda was also available, if you like that. Personally, I took a 2L of caffine free Diet Coke on board with me... made things much easier!

I too just got off the Grand last week and they did have the soda stickers w/the thremal container{it was shaped like a coke can}. If you didnt want the can you could of just gotten the sticker{which is what I did}it was only 12usd. I had no problems using it anywhere on the ship.

I was on the Grand last week. I used the sticker a lot and I thought it was a good option. Much nicer than having to sign for a soda when you wanted one, but the service on the grand was less than accomodating for drinks near the pools. It would take forever to get a Rum Punch and soda. The "drink staff" would even walk right by us and not stop by when we were drinkless. Other than that I thought the cruise was just great!! But, how about that rockin on the last night....... we were really moving!!!!!
