Default Ft. Lauderdale Amerisuites

I've read from numerous people on the board of how to book the Amerisuites on hotwire but i've tried numerous dates and it isn't showing up as one of the choices. I've put in random dates for a 3 month period. From the posts they said on downtown Ft. Lauderdale there are 4 that show up and it's a 2 1/2 star hotel and told me the icons that would identify Amerisuites and it's nowhere to be found. 3 choices only show up. None of which relate to Amerisuites.
Does anyone have any idea why it doesn't show up or have you made reservations recently and it showed up?

B, I too tried for over a month in late Sept. early Oct to get a booking at Amerisuites in FLL in Feb. on Hotwire. Finally gave up and booked on another site at definitely a higher price. I'm wondering if this location has changed from a 2 1/2 star rating.
Have you tried Priceline? Believe you must live in U.S. and have a Master Card to use this site.

Try valuetrips.com. It was recommended to me by Burbunny. It is cancellable should you change you mind. I booked it for my inlaws - it was $69/nite for 10/24/03.

We didn't stay there ourselves, but did visit. It's not bad for the money!

Amersuites in Ft Laudedale is on 17th st. near the port. It is not a bad hotel for 1 or 2 night stays. Better off going direct to the hotel 800 number for reservations, You may also try Embassy Suites, also on 17th st. but much nicer but may cost a little more.
Good Luck

Thanks everyone. I got the reservation off priceline for $50 at Amerisuites. They let you keep your car there while on the cruise for free so it's a great deal. The price for the room was over $100 on the hotel site.
