Default Water in the pools on the Grand

Are there freshwater pools on the Grand Princess? I've been on ships that have only salt water pools. Also how is the food in the alternate restaurants and what is the cost for each? We are sailing Feb. 29, 2004.

The pools are freshwater. I really enjoy them better than the saltwater. I'm afraid I can't comment on the food in the alternative restaurants...didn't eat at either of them. I have read that they were $8-20/per person.

The Grand is a great ship! Have a good time!

Fresh water pools. Have heard that the brunch at Sabatini's restaurant is great.

March is my favorite time to cruise. Are you getting married on the ship?

Places not to miss: Skywalkers disco, the spa pool, the aft pool...etc.!!!!!

Not getting married on the ship- we are having a traditional LARGE italian wedding (even though I am not italian- he is!)

I think we are tempting fate a bit because we are getting married in the Buffalo NY area on the 20th, flying out in the morning to get to Ft. Lauderdale and need to be on the ship before 5:00. Thankfully, we are not drinkers so we won't have a hangover to deal with.
