RE: Lido deck cabins

We just book the Diamond Princess (April 3, 2004) to Mexico. Could someone tell me if the Lido deck balcony rooms are noisey,windy,or prone to a lot of motion. I know this ship is not sailing till March, but if you have been on any other Princess ships like the Star, Grand or Golden this would give me a ruff idea.
Any one else going ? My husband and I are taking our kids (13yr and 16yr).

Shannie, don't think you will get anything you described (and we were 2 balconies from the front on the Star Princess). Most you will get is more up and down motion when the ship hits rough water (which is rare)

Plus you are close to food, decks and the pools!

We had an inside cabin on Lido and loved the location. I would keep the cabin, it is very convenient to the pool area.

We were on the Aloha deck on the Grand Princess two years ago Wonderful! Balcony very quiet (I can hear grass grow!!) You will love it Have sailed on several different lines, loved Princess the best Have Fun!
