We are considering a Panama Canal cruise on the Coral over thanksgiving. Has anyone brought teens on this ship ( or similar ) What types of activities are there for the teens (14 & 17 ) during the sea days? Also, how many teens are usually on this itinerary?
We were on the Regal last month for 14 days and there were only maybe 5 teenagers. They do have some activities. I would say on our ship that 75% of the passengers were over 70. Still a nice cruise though.
Princess has very good teen and youth programs. And though there aren't many kids on cruises when schools are in session, there are always more during school breaks. (Also, shorter cruises - ie. 7 -10 days, attract more families and younger cruisers than the 14 day + cruises). Princess tailors the type of programs available according to the number of young people in the different age groups. Your 14 and 17 yr old teens should be able to find plenty of things to do over Thanksgiving break and others their own age to hang out with.
