Glad to see others are joining us! We haven't booked a cabin yet but we are sure we are going to be on this cruise... we are trying to decide between a balcony and a mini-suite but lack of information makes it hard to decide.
Can't speak about the mini's, but we've had a balcony the past 3 trips and loved it.
We are in our room just enough to enjoy the ocean breeze. So much to do all over the ship just need a place to rest the head awhile each night. Either way you can't go wrong. Hope you book the 5/1 sailing.
We will be the May 1st sailing also. We booked a back aft balcony (BB). They were very appealing to us since we always migrate to the back of the ship to look out over the ocean, something soothing about watching the wake from the back. We were offered an upgrade to a mini suite, but declined, hope we will not be disappointed. We have never sailed Princess and are looking forward to the new ship.
You guy are making me so excited, we do not go until July 10th it will be our first cruise and we are also going on the caribbean princess back aft (BB) let us know how it was when you get back
thanks LeiLoni
We're going on this same cruise for May 1. Can't wait!! Counting down the days with chocolates. Looking for a hotel also. Will keep checking the threads for a hotel. Maybe we'll see you on the cruise!!
we have been to both ports in the past, have done them on our own and had a blast, Definately heading to St John,,, probably Cinamon Bay. Last time in St Marteen we rented a jeep with another couple we met and enjoyed checking out the whole island, found plenty of time for Orient Beach and shopping.
We just booked a private sailboat the ALAUNT for the day in St. Thomas. It takes 6 people so 4 more needed!! Its 110 a person for the day breakfast lunch and open bar.
St Thomas-we are going to do the day sail on the Winifred. Have heard great things about this one. St. Marteen- we are going shopping then rent a car and hit the French side beaches.
May 1 when we get on the ship there is a big air show that goes from 10am to 5 pm. We have been told to get on the ship early, grab a deck chair, drink and enjoy. The airplanes fly directly over the ship. Should be a great way to start the week.
The air show sounds fantastic!! We should be on the ship very early since we are flying in the night before. Usually you can board around noon. Great idea, grap a deck chair and get ready to smile!!!! Counting down the days.
We'll be there too! Booked two cabins, BB on Riviera Deck. Can't wait, gonna pull out a bottle of wine, sit on the balcony, watch the air show and enjoy! See you all there!
