Marriot Marina

Just booked the Marriot Marina for the night before the cruise on the Caribbean Princess, June 12th sailing. Received the Triple AAA discount and got the room for $119.00. Thought that was a pretty good price. Everything is taken care of, now we're just counting down the days, about 90, can't wait..... Thanks to this board, this looked like a nice place to stay. Do they have a place at the hotel to grab breakfast?

That's not a bad price, especially if it includes a breadfast.

there is a restaurant in the lobby, and there's also a small starbucks kiosk if you just want coffee and a muffin. We paid $99.00 there last summer. Its a really nice spot, nice pool and on the intracoastal waterway.

There is a nice restaurant and if i recall there was a buffet brunch on the weekends- not included in the cost of your room.

we just got the mariott for $119.00 which includes breakfast and transfers to port. just have to get transportation from airport to marriott. sounds really nice and other posts confirmed same. seems though others paid less at priceline and bidding.com

My Ta offered some pre-cruise hotel arrangements, but I was wondering about making my own reservation near the pier. This Marriott sounds good. The hotels offered by theTa seem to be in a downtown area?? I think I'd rather be closer.

Hi all.
We stayed here in October 2002. We loved it. There's a cabana bar/restaurant outside where the food was good (and beers cold). At night we walked up the street and found another restaurant. We saw some ships that night but didn't see our ship (Grand Princess). The next morning while walking along side the water/hotel, I caught my first glimpse of the Grand. This was our first cruise, and I have to admit I was awestruck. We signed up for an early slot on the shuttle, which took all of 10 minutes I think to get to the ship. You'll love the Marriot Marina.
