Grand - Showing Age? Refurbished date?

Taking trip Nov 8th. How is she looking? Build in 98 (I think) When refurbished?

You are lucky! From everything I've heard, the Grand will be dry-docked the week before you are scheduled to travel on her. She's suppose to get the new LCD "Movies Under the Stars" screen along with new carpet and other general refurbishments. Have a grand time!

Was on the Grand Apr 11-18. She is definately showing her age. I found the stabilizer's not a good as on the newer boats. I'm sure the refurb will do her some good.

She was starting to show some definite age in 2002. We sailed the Golden first, and she was great. In comparison, the Grand, the Ship we saw shortly after she was built-1998-1999, I think--she was talked about as a new ship coming out when we were on the Sun in Feb.1998-was showing some wear and tear and basic trauma. The nice thing about our "Grand" trip, was that we had the same capt as we had on the Sun! A nice guy. She deserves a good "spruce-up". Happy Cruising! Lynne

Glad to hear that the Grand is getting a face lift. We sail on the Grand Feb. 05 out of Galveston.

We were on the Grand on 4/25 and thought it was in fine shape. Didn't notice any problems with the ride either.
