Default Cookies on Princess

This may sound like a stupid question, but are there cookies available all the time in Princess ships? My only other cruise was on a Royal Caribbean ship, and there were cookies available all the time. Is this true on Princess also? (Specifically, I'm going on the Sapphire Princess in a month).

I've heard that they have cookies in the Internet Cafe on the Diamond, you might check there. I imagine you could take some from whereever they are and store them in your refrigerator. Just be sure to bring some zip lock bags.

We only saw them one time other than the afternoon ice cream buffet. I think there were a few offered as dessert in Horizon Court one lunch. I grabbed a few extra to take back to our room, but they got stale quickly.

On Golden in April, we saw cookies everyday at the Horizon buffet ( what does the above post mean? Horizon IS the buffet) except at breakfast! We took baggies and always took a half dozen or so on our port visits, nice beach snack!

Also, there are cookies and pastries available at La Patisserie in the morning and afternoon.

The last three Princess cruises I have been on had cookies available from lunch on, in the Horizon court. I know, because my dh turned into the Cookie Monster, and we were forever going to get another cookie!!!!

I'm glad to learn about the cookies. What about the free ice cream on the buffet in the afternoon and at dessert some nights at dinner? Is it homemade? Do they offer plain ole vanilla, chocolate and strawberry or is it all fancy flavors? By the way, I'm specifically interested in what's offered on the Grand. Thanks.

Do not miss Afternnoon tea, never mind the tea( although it was good) and nevermind the little sandwiches, get the SCONES! They are served with jam and whipped cream( it actually should be Devon cream but it's not but who cares!) The way to eat them is : slather a thick layer of cream on the scone( cut scone in half first) and then smear the jam on top of the cream....yummy times ten!

Chris&Jeff:
I know they serve home-made ice cream at lunch and dinner in the dining rooms, don't know about the buffet, since we rarely eat there. The ice cream available is vanilla and chocolate and a flavor or two of the day. My experience on Regal, Dawn, and Star has been that the ice cream was exceptionally good. Some of my favorites included walnut, pistachio, and mocha. (Not mixed) hahaha

W were on the diamond in May. They only had cookies a few afternoons in the Horizon. We asked about them daily. My hubby likes cookies too. The Horizon staff would ask but there never were cookies. Cookies were not on the very limited room service menu.

They have excellent cookies (as well as the scones) at afternoon tea.
