Default Travel Insurance

I have a question about travel insurance. We have a cruise booked for November. We would like to purchase the travel insurance. Is it best to just purchase it from your travel agent or is there a less expensive way to get this insurance?

Thanks for the help.
David

On this website you can get quotes from many insurance companies and compare the coverage and prices side-by-side.

just beware - you usually have to buy your insurance within 3-5 days from booking your trip so you should decide quickly.

Dave,
I've "never left home without it", so to speak. However, it gives me peace -of-mind, strictly a personal choice. Here's a good link on an article written by Anne Campbell;

I've never had to use it, but know of folks who wish they had it. Enjoy!

If you want the coverage to cover existing conditions, then you need to purchase it as soon as you book the cruise, otherwise, you can purchase it the day before if you want.
