Since the Diamond and the Sapphire are sister ships, I wonder if anyone can tell me if Mini Suite D324 balcony is open to the deck above it or is it private or what?
Has anyone sailed on the Diamond that knows what the balcony situation is on Dolphin deck, at mid ship. Sure would appreciate any input. Thanks
All Grand class ships are virtually the same. The only major difference is that the Caribbean Princess has an extra deck. As far as I know all mini suites are located on Dolphin and the balaconies are completly open above. This photo was origally posted by bluefish.
I am not going on the diamond but, I am going on the sapphire on July 11,2004 and we are staying on the dolphin deck in the mini suite too. We were told that our balcony is closed. So there you go its closed from the one above you.
MIssy, I'm a little confused, the Diamond, Sapphire,Grand, Golden and Star are sister ships and are vitually alike. The only changes are cosmetic ones to the public areas. But your post made me curious, so I called Princess and was told that all mini suites on all Grand class ships are the same, including the balconies, partitions on the sides, open above. Is your cabin unique to the other mini suites on Dolphin?
