On the Dawn Princess you bought a drink in each lounge and they would punch the card once you had filled the card you got a free hat or t-shirt. Buying all those drinks is a lot to pay for a hat or t-shirt .
Have done it two times, on the Coral Princess (MGram forced me to) and on the Royal Princess (last week).
The 'free gift' (and yes, it is an expensive gift) must vary per ship. On the Coral I had a choice of several - t-shirt, shot glasses, hat or cup. On the Royal, I had no choice and ended up with another t-shirt.

Re: Re: Bar-hoppers card??
Wow......I turn my back and look what you do.......blame it on ME. Well.......who's fault was it on the Royal last week???? Sharon???? ;-).
CA is right.......it is an expensive little trinket ...... but fun to get. Actually on the Coral, he filled HIS card, his cabin mate's card(doesn't drink!) and parts of MINE and my hubbie's card! Attached is our Coral proof!
We actually found that we preferred just picking a couple of the bars to frequent....develop a rapor with the waiters ..... makes for a better experience.
