Can you get on top of the bridge on the Diamond Princess

My last question seemed to cause some trouble, so I'll try to behave this time.

I just saw a picture of someone on top of the bridge on the Diamond Princess. Is this accessible to everyone? How does one get up there? When cna you get up there? Also, do the cruise lines offer tours of the inside of the bridge?

And I promise I won't be grumpy to those who respond.

As far as I know, Bridge tours stopped after 9/11. Also, due to the Norwalk virus, galley tours have also disappeared on many lines.

Just to clarify, the picture that I saw was OUTSIDE on top of the bridge. Looked like a really great place to stand. Does anyone have any info on it.

And about stopping the bridge tours after 9/11, I had thought that was probably the case, but just wanted to see if that had changed.

Its very difficult to get a bridge tour, since 9-11, although it doesn't hurt to ask.

To answer your question - Yes, you can. There's an area directly above the bridge where you can hang out all you want. But, if you want to hang out for a while, be sure to grab a chair from the outdoor pool area and bring it with you.
