Default caribbean princess

I was wondering if anyone has stayed on the Aloha deck on the Caribbean Princess. We are taking our first cruise (and 1st trip without the kids) on Oct 9th, 2004. I have heard the balconies on the Caribe are the biggest and was wondering how the ones on Aloha are. We will be in cabin A330. Also, is this deck noisy since it is a couple decks down from the pools. Thanks for your help.

Hey! We will be on the ship the week before you. We will save you some drinks and pool chairs! I think the balconies on the Aloha deck are standard size (around 4x10 ish) the ones on the Caribe deck are 8x10 ish. It should be nice no matter what. You will have a fantastic time. Cruising is the only way to travel. See you in Ft Lauderdale! Jen

Although we prefer Caribe deck because of the larger balcony, we've had staterooms on Baja deck on the Grand Princess and they are great too. As a first time cruiser, please do not be concerned about the balcony size. If you are like my wife and I, you will probably not be spending very much time there anyway with all the other activities to do onboard. Also, noise should be no problem at all on Aloha deck on the Caribbean Princess. The rooms are well insulated and you will also have the Riviera deck as a buffer.

I still remember our first cruise twelve years ago like it was yesterday. I know that yours will be equally as memorable.

Just relax and have fun....

We were in A-303 on the Golden. It was a huge room, large bathroom.Nice sized balcony-enough for a table and 2 chairs. But, I think we decided it was a handicapped accessible room because of its grand size.I agree with Bob that the first cruise lingers longest, although I wouldn't trade the ones that have come since. Noise is rarely a problem with Princess, unless your door is right next to staircase or elevator. You'll find more than enough room.
