We will be cruising with our three small children under 6. Yikes!
So we have to have 2 cabins. I have booked a balcony and an inside.
However, I wonder if I got a mini and inside if the sofa makes into a bed we could all enjoy the mini and use the inside for showers and storage.
We always get the mini-suite, but it's just the three of us. The sofa bed is only a single. The 4th bed in the room is an upper bunk. It might be a little tight having all 5 of you in the same room. You have to book 1 triple and 1 double, but you have to make sure you get a mini that has a 4th bed. Could be a little tricky. Good luck
Hope that helps,
Actually, in a mini-suite the sofa bed could accomodate 2 small children with the third child in the bunk above the sofa. Plenty of storage room for all you, but i don't know if Princess will allow that as the cabins are designated for 4. Ask your TA. You might also look into the family staterooms on the the Grand.
I agree with Scott. If the number of berths is 4, that is all that is allowed in that cabin.
Of course, she is still talking about getting the inside, and the staff won't really know how many are sleeping in the cabin if it is more than 4. Officially, it can't be done. Unofficially, if they are small childen, it's possible.
