My wife and I have pre-booked a number of shore excursions on our Mediterranean cruise in September and I was wondering, since a lot of them are early morning trips, how can I be sure of being awakened in time? Is there a wake-up call service? Is it by "phone", does someone come knocking, or are there clock/radio/alarms in the staterooms?
There's a phone wake up serivce, and the phone DOES have a clock on the screen. Also, when you arrive in port the captain of the ship will come on the intercom (its pretty loud, and pretty early) and tell everyone we're in port. have fun!
Location: Wisconsin....about 100 miles south of the Frozen Tundra and 70 miles east of Camp Randall
Re: WAKE UP!!!
You know, if you do not have your tv on and turned to the correct channel, you cannot hear the loudspeaker announcements in your cabin (has been that way on all 4 of my previous Princess cruises.) I wonder if there is a volume control somewhere in the cabin that will allow you to hear them.........................if there is, I never found it!
