Default Balcony size

We are going on the Star in November for our honeymoon and we are on the Baja Deck with a balcony. I have been reading different posts about balconies and from the way it sounds they are very roomy. The last post I read was about having dinner on the balcony! Very exciting .. hope the Star offers that. I was on another line and had a balcony but it wasn't very wide. I couldn't imagine having dinner out there! Does anyone have any insight or pictures of the balconies on the Star??

Hi Karen,
You can get the sizes of cabins/balconies at this site, hope you do have a large enough one for dinner:

We have sailed the Star and the balconies are big enough....we had a party for four and although it wasn't spaceous, it was certainly adequate. One thing though, on the megaships (strar, grand, etc) the balconies are tiered, i. e. you can look on the balcony below and, of course the people above can look down on you. look on the deck plans at Princess.com and see there is a deck above you. Aloha is pretty high. Enjoy. We aren't sailing again until December.....then February. can't wait

OMG you can put a lounger out on the balcony??? Holy moly! On Carnival, the balcony was big enough for two plastic chairs and a small table between them. You had to squeeze by to get to the far chair. I just assumed that was going to be the same on here. Thanks!

PS: Balconies on Baja deck on Star are completely covered and you cannot be seen from above, however, you can see the Caribe deck balconies below you as they are half covered (by your balcony) and half open (their balconies are larger though the cabin is the same size as yours). You can also see the balconies below that on Dolphin deck which has completely exposed balconies. Have a great trip! :-)
