Default Clothes hangers necessary?

In one of the postings, I read something about bringing hangers. That the wire were better because they are smaller than the plastic.

My question is, are the hangers necessary? Are there not enough in the closets? Or is this a personal preference.

TIA

If you need more hangers just ask your cabin steward and they will bring you more.

I've always had plenty of hangers, shouldn't be a problem, save room in the luggage for more important things, have fun!

Be_ann - wire hangers are great for packing your clothes in your garment bag, they take up much less room than plastic ones. Princess has really nice beefy wooden hangers , you can always ask your room steward for more hangers.

I guess I'm silly compared to everyone else, but I know the cabin stewards are busy with more important things so I hate to ask them for extra hangers. I do agree it's a personal preference. My husband and I hang just about all of our clothes, so we use up the provided hangers quickly and always need more than a dozen extras. If you don't plan on hanging most of what you bring, you should be fine with the provided supply.
