Default Do the baggage claim letters and colors mean anything specia

Just wondering if having an "F" Orange colored Embarkation baggage tab references when I will get to board the ship. Since we are arriving a day early and plan on being at the ship early, will we be able to board.

I think the color of the tags has more to do with what deck your cabin is on, makes it easier to deliver your luggage, just a way to sort them out, at least I think thats it :-)

You are right it helps the baggage handlers route your bag to the right deck. They also use a color system debarking. Most cruises load at or after noon. They normaly arrive and debark the last load of passengers in the morning.

The 'F' stands for forward, the A for aft. Just gives them some idea of the location to take the bags to.

The ship most likely will not be there a day early like you. The don't arrive until the morning of your cruise. That is also the last day of the last cruise. So people will be leaving when you and your fellow passengers will be arriving. My husband and I got to the dock at about 9AM for our last cruise. We were the only one's there until about 10:45. The prev cruisers diembarked at about 11AM and we were the first people on the ship (after handicapped, etc).
