Default Ft Lauderdale Boarding Time

Hello---

Our group will be sailing on the Sun on Dec12th. According to our itinerary, boarding time in Fort Lauderdale is 1pm, with a sail time of 5pm.

Question:
What is the absolute earliest we can board the ship. Does the ship start to board prior to 1pm? Also, what time should we arrive at the pier if we want to board as soon as possible.

As always, thank you for your replies.

I usually get there about 11:30 and have boarded by noon or a bit before.

When you board early, do they have anything open for lunch or is this just a time that you can walk around? We weren't planning on being there early until last night when we decided to bring back some of our youth and goto a Metallica concert the night before we cruise HAHA (kinda glad we are having a sea day the first day now on the Star 11/7)

you can usually start boarding around noon time, get to the terminal around 11:30.
Lunch will be available for you in Horizon Court Buffet.

The day that you board they will just be finishing up with the arrival of the previous cruise. So I highly doubt that you will be able to board sooner.

I arrived at 12:30 and I did not have to sit arround. The group that arrived at 11:30 had to wait for boarding to start.

Have a great time!
Mike
