Kennels on ships ?
I had heard that some of the new ships offer kennels for dogs. Maybe the person I had heard from that from was confused. Anyone else heard of this?

The only ship that I know for sure that has a kennel on it is the QE2......maybe the QM2 does also, but the only dogs I know for sure that the only animals allowed on any cruise ship are allowed guide/service dogs/animals.

The latest Princess 'welcome aboard' book I received (a week ago- Diamond Princess) says no pets on Princess, but I have heard the rumor on some river cruises.

I wish we could bring our pup on board. Leaving her behind is the worst part of vacation. It makes since though, some animals aren't very well behaved and would tear things up and cause headaches for the cruise staff, not to mention some people's allergies would be affected.

Re: Kennels on ships ?
I would love to be able to bring my dogs on vacations, but never have heard of a cruise line accepting pets. I have been on cruises where seeing eye dogs were on board and I realize these dogs were very important, but it was hard to have a nice walk on the promanade deck and have to dodge, dog feces!
