HEY EVERYONE ILL BE ON THE CP 9/10/05 STAYING ON THE LIDO DECK CABIN L101,,JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS OR CAN TELL BE WHAT THE OBSTRUCTION MIGHT POSSIBALY BE?
We were behind a lifeboat on one cruise and behind a ton of lifeboat equipment on another. If the day includes tendering ashore, they start getting them read in the VERY early hours. Very noisy. Now we shell out the extra cash for a balcony. Don't be optimistic about an upgrade. We have not had one in eighteen cruises. But....we still have fun.....You will too!!!
WELL I KNOW THAT THE OBSTRUCTED VIEWS ARE ON THE LOWER DECKS WITH THE LIFEBOATS,.,,BUT ON THE LIDO DECK THERE ARE 4 INSIDE PARTIALLY OBSTRUCTED CABINS,,I KNOW THE DECK IS ALMOST TO THE TOP OF THE SHIP,,JUST CURRIOUS,,IM IN L101,,I COULD CALL PRINCESS,,JUST THOUGHT SOMEONE MIGHT KNOW,,THX FOR THE RESPONCES

Re: PARTIALLY OBSTRUCTED VIEWS
Well, just checked the deck plans on the Princess site....you must be on the Caribbean Princess (not the Coral because the Coral does not have any cabins on Lido deck.....).....you are in a forward facing outside cabin....no obstructed view listed on the description of this cabin. You might not be able to see all the way down because of the bridge, etc. but you should have a great forward view.
