anyone care to comment on experiences they encountered pro and con on dawn princess from say oct 2004-to present. i continue to hear same problems persist, engine problems, shortened, eliminated ports and other issues as far as quality, food service etc. anyone on board very recently wish to express their experiences, and what the ship, personnel advised them on the situation while on board. thank you
Wildjordy, I've tried to respond to your e-mail to me twice, but AOL keeps screwing up. Don't know how else to reach you. I've called Princess several times to find out what's really going on, but nobody seems to know.
I think they are waiting until after final payment has been made to notify people about the changes to the itinerary. The only people who have any advance warning are those on boards like this. How many people on any cruise get their info online? Maybe 5 to 10%.
Anyway, I hope you have a good cruise in spite of the problems. Let the rest of us know if you find out any new information while you're on board.
The $150 was given to those who already had their cruises booked when they shortened the times in port. Those who booked after the price dropped and knew about the shortened times, did not get the money.
Most people getting credits were the cruises directly effect by the hurricanes..has anyone gotten anything other then port chages refunded or OBC for Dec/Jan sailings..the people with sept/oct cedits are old news giving people false hopes and miss information.
