Grand + refurbished

I read somewhere that the Grand Princess was refurbished in 2002? Can anyone confirm if the ship is nice, or if it's totally worn down. I have read some postings which would indicate that the ship wasn't refurbished in 2002?

This ship is so beautiful! Infact, i've booked another just for this ship!
This is a new ship! The biggest one at all the ports! you have nothingto worry about!

The Grand was dry-docked in Nov. 2004. We sailed her first 7 night sailing out of Galveston after the dry-dock and she was beautiful! The bed spreads, carpets, chairs, etc have been replaced and she appears new again.
