Default PC + formal nights

I've selected the personal choice dining on the Grand Princess, and am not sure if I still participate in the formal nights? I'm not sure if i should pack formal clothes or not???!!

yes cath pack your formal clothes. Formal night attire applies to all dining rooms and restaurants except the buffet. Personal Choice/Anytime Dining means just that. You can eat in any of the dining rooms/restaurant except the one dining room reserved for Traditional Dining at any time you wish.

Great - thanks!! You say that I can't go into the dining room reserved for Traditional Dining, but can I eat the same food at another dining room if I want? I've picked personal choice dining, but I'm not sure if it's the right choice??!!

Personal choice mean that you have selected to eat anytime you want during the hours the PC dining rooms are open. Traditional you are given a time to eat and table mates that remain the same all week.

With PC you will have the same menu and follow all the dress codes that traditional does but you can request a table for just your party or you can ask to sit with other passengers.

I love PC because it doesn't lock me into a time which makes it easier with the kids.
