Default Buffets & special dining-Caribbean Princess

We are taking our first Princess cruise this June - have been on RCCL 3x previously. I keep hearing about lobster buffets - who can tell me about them? Also would love some reviews on the steak & italian special dining options - are they worth the extra money?

The seafood buffet in the Caribe Cafe is on Thurs. night ( the second formal night). It is really good and you can eat all of the lobster, crab legs, shrimp etc., that you can stuff down.
The Sterling and Sabatinis are great too. It is unreal how much pasta they put in front of you. You won't be hungry for at least 24hrs. Sterling has great steaks.

I just returned a week ago from a wonderfull cruise aboard the Caribbean Princess. We actually had the Seafood extravaganza (as thay call it) 3X in the buffet. All you can eat lobster, crabs legs and shrimp!!! It was I think Sat, sailaway and Sun and thursday. They also had lobster on the menu in the restaurants for dinner on thurs. We would eat our dinner in the restaurants these nights and have a late nite snack( around 1030-1100) of seafood. Loved it!!!!!!

I was told the seafood on Sailaway Night is chilled; the seafood buffet served on the two formal nights is hot.
