I took candles and used them. noone said anything. In fact, we had one candle that we kept in the bathroom and it was there the entire 14 days and the room steward never said anything either...so...go for it.
I would really question the reason and the thinking behind leaving a burning candle going in a cabin. A fire on a Cruise Ship is more than a disaster. It places the lives of thousands in jeopardy, and just because a cabin steward says nothing or you can get away with it is far fomr making it a Goog Idea!
Hi all, We will be on the Diamond on the 14th of May to Alaska and we will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary. We have both Aft facing cabins (A744 & A746) on the Port side of the aft Terrace Pool. We will be taking some Christmas lights and doing our Balcony up with them. So if you see the Diamond during this time and see the colorful aft Balconies, Take a picture of it and you can always e-mail them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be trying to find whoever else is in the aft balconies and try to get the whole bunch of us to hang a few lights, who knows maybe we'll make headlines or something.....Roy Diamond 5/14/05
