Shoes always tend to take up a lot of room in suitcases. Any suggestions on how to pack shoes? We are taking the minimum amount possible, but there is still quite a few pairs for our 7day on the Grand out of Galveston.
Rick, in the past, we've put 'em in the backpack that we haul around port and on the ship on sea days in order to free up some suitcase space.
For a 7-day cruise, I bring one pair of black dress shoes, one pair of sneakers and a pair of flip-flops. In fact, I would bring the same on any cruse. Perhaps edit down the amount of casual or dress shoes.

i keep shoes to a minimum. I pack one pair of dressy black heels, 1 pair of flat white casual sandals, 1 pair of slightly dressier white sandals, 1 pair of water sandals, and i wear my walking sneakers. I put them in plastic bags ( like the one's you get at the grocery store) and throw them in the bottom of the garment bag. DH packs 1 pair of dress shoes, 1 pair of boat shoes, 1 pair water sandals and he wears his walking sneakers.
On my last cruise, I wore tennis shoes (velcro'ed for easy removal for airline security) and packed one pair of dress shoes and one pair of "sport sandals". That took care of every scenario...
