I will only be in Seattle for the evening before having to catch a flight to Anchorage.
Could anyone reccomend a great seafood resturant with some character? |

Go to Elliots on the waterfront. It's our number one favorite.
If you are going for lunch go to Ivars (also on the waterfront) and watch the people feed the seagulls. |

My favorite is Emmet Watson's Oyster Bar, which is across the street from the north end of the Pike Place Market. It closes early (6, maybe) but has awesome oysters at a great price.

Duke's Chowder House (the lobster pernod chowder) and Chandler's Crab on Lake Union are fabulous but Elliott's is fantastic too. Etta's (Tom Douglas' restaurant) is also great.
There's also Bonefish on Lake Union. http://seattle.sidewalk.com is a great resource |

BTW......I think we are staying at a small hotel near the airport.
How far is it to some of the resturants that were mentioned? Waterfront VS Pike Place? |
