Default Caribbean Princess for 18 year olds??

Hey, we are planning a senioor trip for june 2006, and Princess is the only line that will let us sail without chaparones(sp.). What are the activities like for 18-19 year old cruisers?? We all have either sailed w/ Carnival or RCCL.. How does the atmosphere compare to Carnival and RCCL?? We are just out to have a blast, dance, do whatever for the week to celebrate our 4 years of highschool together!! Thanks for everyones input. =)

There will be no activities geared directly to your age group. You will, of course, be allowed to participate in any of the regularly scheduled activities onboard... like the pool games, karaoke, trivia, and passenger participation games.

Though you won't be allowed to buy alcohol onboard, you can use the disco, and lounges.

My Husband and I sent our Daughter on the Caribbean Princess for her graduation gift. The same reason as you. The only cruise line they could go on alone. She went with her best friend. She is more of a relax, read, eat good food, and go to shows kind of person. He is a very social person who spent a great deal of time in the disco.

My Daughters favorite is Carnival and she did make the comment about how old the passengers were on Princess but they both had a great time and would go again. There is not much for you to do that is age specific but it is what you make of it. Letís face it...no parents, good food, music, shows, sun, pools, and fun ports.

They really liked spending the day on the beach on Princess Cay. They also like the fact that they could have a drink in Mexico.

Have fun.

there are no organized activites for that age group, they can particpate in any and all of the adult activites, lots of sports to do - mini-golf, basketball, volleyball, ping pong, pool, great pools which are freshwater, open 24/7 as are the hot tubs. They will not be allowed to buy alcohol on board. There is good nightlife on board, lots to choose from, their are production shows in the Princess Theatre, always a comdey show on a few nights, there is a main show lounge with dancing, activites and games. They do card at the disco, but i think that they let 18+ in , you just can't order alcohol. The deck party is a blast. There is a band playing by the pool at lunch time, the pizza, burgers and hot dogs are really good poolside.

Thanks guys!!!! I think Ms. O'hara summed it up "Letís face it...no parents, good food, music, shows, sun, pools, and fun ports"!!! I'm sure we will have a blast, with all of us together, im sure we will find a way to have fun. And being princess' newest ship, im sure that will make it a bit more fun. Thanks for all of yalls input!
