Caribbean Princess night life/& Cabin

Hello
My sister and i are sailing on the Caribean Princess in September. She's 21 and I'm 25. I know she is really looking forward to the night life and partying. Is the crowd generally younger, older or just a mix? Plus we are on the Emerald deck in an oceanview partially obstructed. Can you really see anything??? and is that deck kind of a low deck?? Thanks for the help. We are so excited it!!!!

I sailed last may on the same deck and same type of cabin that you are going to sail on. You can see some stuff trough the window, but you probably will have one of the tender boats in front of it, wil not be able to see anything directly in front of you but, if you look down you can see the sea and depending may be you can see a little bit torugh the boat in fornt of you. The deck is perfect, especially if you are in the middle of it.

I am 21 years old and had a great time. But beware that most of the time the clubs, expecially skywalker is full of underage kids, they pass trough security with fake ids. And its very sad because the kids try to fool the security talking fast with them, when most of the time they don't eve speak english. But overall the music is great, the drinks are great, and she will have a great time.

I was on the Caribbean Princess in March.
Skywalkers is a really nice looking club and actually I didn't see any underage teens there.
The teens were all in the Teen Disco and as soon as they tried to get into Skywalkers they were refused.
Some girl we met was also refused to get into the skywalkers club while she was 19 years old. After some discussions she finally was allowed in.
The first night of the cruise Skywalkers was great, many people inside the club and on the dancefloor.
The second night was a little less crowded but still good enough for a great time.
After that it went more quiet every night, so we thought everybody would be there at the last night before getting off the ship.
Nope... we were about the only people around hehe, so it was kinda a fluke that day.
I really don't know how it would be when you're there, but I'm sure you can at least enjoy Skywalkers 2 or 3 times during your cruise,.

I think the ages of the Skywalkers club varied from 18 years to 30. I haven't seen many people above 30 up there, except of some bartenders.
Always make sure you have your ID with you, otherwise you can go back to your cabin :)

you will find a good mix of all ages.
The production shows take place in the Princess Theatre, usually Broadway type shows.
Explore's Lounge always has a dance band, and this is where all the evening fun and games take place.
Wheelhouse Lounge - small, intimate, very relaxing, usually a 2 or 3 piece band playing easy listening music. Love this place.
Skywalker's is a great place- love the view! Doesn't get hopping until after 11 pm. Depending upon the DJ - the music is mostly techno-funk, rap type music. They do have "theme" nights in Skywalker's - read your Princess Patters daily.
Comedians( adult), Bingo, Casino. Deck Party is a blast. Midnight Champagne Waterfall/Party is a must do.

hi we're going in sept to st martin and thomas. we have balcony on the caribre. Ive read reviews and found out that thee nightlife needs improvement. The music is bad. Its aghost town in Club fusion. but on carnival they allow you to give them your favorite music cd's. Hopefully, that's true on this ship. keep in mind -MAKE YOUR OWN FUN

My boyfriend and I are also going on the Caribbean Princess in September and I'm trying to find out as much as I can b/c I have only sailed on Norwegian. I know on both Norwegian ships obstructed view meant the lifeboats were in front of your windows. I haven't heard about the night life though.

I just got off the Caribbean Princess and we were a group of 9 ranging from 21 to 31
and skywalkers was a older group of late 40 to 50 then around midnight to 1 am it was our age group. The dj is not that great his mixes are not very good but we made the best of it. Club Fusion is really fun we would spend most of our time there until we went up to skywalkers.

Well I think many people will agree with me. Really the nightlife depends on the type of people that goes to the cruise. Which also depends on the time of the year that you are sailing. I have only sailed once and my second trip will be on May. But what I am going to explain can be concluded by reading different post in this page and other.

During the month of May trough July, the nightlife probably is better for people between 18-25 years. Why?? Well probably because in this time of the year is when more young people sail. Why?? Well most of the time Senior Trips, Summer Break. So most of High School Students and College Students have the summer of, so there is more probability that they will sail during this period of the year.

The vacation of people 25 and above depends more on them and when they want to sail, the vacation period is not restricted as the period students have.
