Email my brother and put Caribbean Princess in your subject line so he doesn't delete your email. He was so impressed with the Caribbean Princess he talked me into booking a cruise on her. His email is email@example.com
We were on the Caribbean Princess in March. Beautiful ship, but crowded. Deck chairs were hard to find by mid morning. Food was good and we liked being able to eat dinner at anytime. Entertainment was very good.
Re: Re: any recent reviews on the carribean princess?
We were on the Caribbean Princess last week and had the best time. The ship is beautiful. I have written a review to be posted on the message boards. So I hope they do.
In the meantime, I can tell you that Embarkation went smoothly. The food was great. St. Thomas and St. Martin were beautiful. We took a tour in St. Thomas with Sunny Liston. Well worth the $20/pp. Horseback riding in St. Martin was sensational. Alexander the hypnotist replaced the Caribe Caliante show. Seen him before and loved his show. Bert Stratton did a great show. The Piano Man show was okay, not spectacular. Our balcony cabin on Caribe deck was perfect. Showers are tiny but manageable. Service was excellent, from the cabin stewards to the waiters. We had a standing reservation in the Palm Dining room every evening at 6:00, so never had to wait. Coffee was fine. The Aft Pool and the Spa Pool were the quieter areas. MUTS was terrific. Make a reservation for the evening movies. Princess Cays was a beautiful beach day and had good snorkeling. Disembarkation was fine. Tip: Get up and out of your cabin early and grab a seat in one of the clubs/lounges where you can get a seat and relax until your tags are called to exit the ship. Make your luggage stand out with colored ribbons or masking tape so you can easily find them in the sea of luggage.
You will love your balcony on Caribe deck. The balconies are double the size of those above and also double the size of the Dolphin deck below. (The Dolphine deck holds mini-suites, whose extra space is taken up by a sofa area, thus a regular size balcony.) There is a table, 2 chairs, a small side table, and 2 cushioned reclining chairs. The balconies on Caribe deck are half covered, meaning the half closest to the door is covered, and the rest open to the sun and to the view of those cabins above. Enjoy!
