We're book in a mini-suite on the Island Princess as well - but later in 2006. I was able to find some pics on webshots. Go into webshots community and do a search for Island Princess - you will see a lot of photos by 'kenphill' - amongs his shots there are some good clear ones of a mini-suite on the Dolphin deck (D623 I think). Anyway, it looks almost identical to the mini-suite on the Grand Class ships - maybe a tiny bit narrower - but certainly not as big or as nice as the mini-suites on the Dawn, the Sun or the Sea Princess ships.
Happy sailing - I will be looking forward to your postings when you return.
Here you go! You can do a complete virtual tour of the Island Princess! By the way, thanks for posting your Diamond mini suite photos. I spent a lot of time drooling over them before we did our cruise on the Diamond last February.
Beryl, thank you *so* much for the link. And Diane, thanks for the info -- know what you mean about the mini-suites on teh Sea Princess. They are to die for -- and are listed as "suites" on the Island.

We are taking our first cruise next spring to Alaska on the Island Princess. Would love any information someone would like to share with me. We are on the Aloha deck. Would some of you long time cruisers tell me which decks are the most desirable and t where on the deck is the best? Also am interested information was the Princess's land tours.
Harry,
I feel terrible. We sailed in an AB on Island Princess on the Panamaniac cruise but in going back through my pictures I only have a few pictures of the cabin and I can't post them or my wife will kill me. It is messy and she isn't fixed up the way she would want to be seen. <VBG>
I will say they are very similar to a Grand Class mini-suite but much smaller than a Sun Class mini-suite. They are basically a longer version of the Cat B balconies with a larger bathroom and sitting area with couch. However a very comfortable and nice stateroom.
Take care,
Mike
