Default Galveston/Grand Princess

We are going on Grand Princess the second week in December. Anyone else on this cruise?

If you have gone on this cruise before, Carribbean, what are some MUST on the shore excursions? Also any MUST NOTS?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Ron

Is that the week of 12/10/05? We cruised the Grand 3-5-05 and had a great time. We are not excursion people, rather we take off on our own. Belize is a port that should be considered for an excursion. Not much in town to see and do, same for Costa Maya although the port area is not bad.

My wife and I + family members have four Caribe deck cabins booked for the 12/10/05 cruise. We are considering doing excursions this time around.

Ron,

I've been to both Cozumel and Grand Cayman several times. In Cozumel, the Tulum tour is worth doing if a bit long, as it's an absolutely beautiful place. My daughters liked the Dolphin Swim at Chankanaab park, and my son liked the Atlantis submarine. If you dive, well, all the ports probably have great diving.

The one must-do tour (in my opinion, of course) in Grand Cayman is Stingray City.

We're on the Dec.3 cruise, our plan is to tackle the sting rays in the Grand Cayman, cave tubbing (and possibly zip trekking too) in Belize, visiting the ruins in Costa Maya and snorkelling (on our own) in Cozmel (We'll probably rent a car and just drive around the island and explore).

Hopefully we won't be missing out with our choices.
