Sapphire princess balconies

Are the balconies on the Caribe deck on Sapphire partially covered?

I have heard that the balcony cabins on Princess are smaller than RCCL and Carnival. Is this true and if so, is it a significant difference? In what other ways do Princess balcony cabins differ from these other lines?

Re: Sapphire princess balconies

The Caribe deck balconies are very large, about 9x9 feet and are half covered and half exposed. I think they are the best of both worlds in terms of balconies. I can't imagine that this balcony is smaller than the typical RCI balcony. The Princess ships with the small balconies are the Sun class ships and not the Grand class or Coral/Island sister ships.
