Just back from Alaska on the Diamond. Wanted to take a minute and thank everyone who helped prepare us for our first cruise. We stayed in an Aft suite B-753. If anyone has any questions about the Diamond or our cabin, I would be more than happy to answer any questions!!!!!!!

Going next year on the Diamond just a few weeks earlier. First time to Alaska, first time on Princess. Any suggestions? Anything you did that you're glad you did it that way? Anything you would change?

Hi Kathy,

My hubby and I will be going on the Diamond in Sep 06. We had originally reserved the cabin you had but decided on a cabin on the left side of the ship (cabin C412). (we're taking the south-bound trip and figured we'd be able to see more). Typically we do stay on the back of the ship. Did we make a good decision or should be change to the aft cabin?

Also, I've noticed in the brochure, the Diamond has many more amendities in the room (i.e. CD player) then some of the other Princess Grand Class ships. Is this true?

Yes, yes, yes! We have reserved 748 aft in 2006, and want to hear all about the aft cabin inside, the balcony, the views, how you liket, etc.

could you tell if the side balcony door to the Grand Suite, next to you, was able to be opened??

We cruised the Diamond May 13th. We had cabin D741 and loved it. It was a awesome cruise. Love watching our screen saver daily.
